Got selected and promoted to move to the UK to help start up a new department for our expansion. I am currently a manager but this promotion essentially takes me to a director level reporting to the VP. Specifically moving to London and have already researched that it ain’t cheap. They are going to continue paying me in USD throughout my two year stint in the UK.
I’m taking into account UK taxes and currency exchange where I will take a big hit.
Currently making 100k + 15% annual bonus.
They are offering an additional 22k to my base and approximately 15k in relocation. I feel i can do better than this and wanted advise/insight as I plan to negotiate next week. #compensation #relocation
