Hey blind community. I just got an offer from Microsoft in London for Principal Software Engineer, L65 and couldn’t find too many datapoints within the same level in London on levels.fyi. Here is the breakdown:
Base: 112k pounds
RSU: 230k USD (over 4 years)
SignOn bonus: 20k pounds
Annual bonus: from 20% to 40% base salary.
Is that a good offer?
#Microsoft #london #uk
Current TC: 200k AUD 🥜 (small startup)
YoE: 14y
If you think this is not a good offer, please leave a comment telling why you think that. It will help get me some datapoints for a possible negotiation. Thanks!

You can get the base to 200k easy and RSUs to 300k. I was a manager at Microsoft so I know the numbers.
My Amazon L5 was 135K for Cambridge.
Base 105K rest all sign on.
