Get business cards from all who interview you. Write handwritten thank you cards about 5-6 lines long and send the day of or after the interview. Follow up after 2 weeks. If you don't hear back after a month, move on.
Show up 10 minutes early to the interview.
Don't give one word answers.
Don't wear cologne or perfume
Don't talk about your personal life unless it is important to the job.

Ask where the company excels and where it could improve.
Always ask the first question. If they ask generally "Tell me about yourself?" Reply with, "I can answer that but what do you expect whoever you hire to the position to accomplish in 3 months, 6 months and in 12 months?" Their answer will give you a chance to tailor your response. This question works well in group interviews especially.
