Bloomberg recruiter call after 4 rounds onsite. How to answer salary negotiation questions?
Hello blinders,
Recently I was fortunate enough to receive an interview invitation from Bloomberg.
Passed the phone screening and after a week was notified to schedule an onsite interview date.
My onsite occurred last week, and though I was originally asked for only two rounds (stated in the email), the engineer after 2nd round told me to continue as there will be more rounds following up.
In the end I had HR round and what it seemed to be a manager round, both of which I believe I did well on.
Today, I received an email from the recruiter saying she'd like to follow up regarding my interview and schedule for a phone call.
This could mean two things; a) I was rejected and they are notifying through a call. b) salary negotiation and other HR related questions.
I'd like to prepare for the best case scenario and would like to be walked through on how to negotiate my salary / answer HR related questions. Looking at levels.fyi, bloomberg seems to give on average 142k base with 20k bonus for new grads.
I also have a pending offer with another company, but wondering if I should even bring this up during the call, since I recall seeing another blind post about a person getting rejected by Bloomberg once they said they'll have to think about cancelling their other interviews if Bloomberg were to give them an offer on spot during this call.
With the covid-19 situation, I feel like if I bring the other offer to leverage, they might as well just go with another candidate and revoke my offer. What would be the best way to prepare for salary negotiation and HR questions - such as - "do you have any pending offer?" "are you in any other interview in process?"
Thanks in advance for the help!
Below is TC and YOE, but this won't help much since I am a new graduate.
YOE: 0

Nobody revokes offer because you have other offers. Definitely negotiate because they want you. If you have offers, do mention it after hearing the recruiter.
I know the other post you’re talking about, but I’ve never heard about that happening anywhere else here. BBG is usually happy to negotiate in my experience, although they won’t always match beyond ~200 for new grads.
It's been 1 week since my interview but I have not heard back yet. Any inputs?
