Took another job and rejected AWS offer a few days ago...feeling a bit of anxiety about having done so.

If you scan my previous posts you would see I just took an offer from a small - midsize company cloud solutions provider to be a DevOps Engineer and rejected an L5 AWS systems engineer offer.
By all accounts the cloud company has better pay, benefits, no on-call, better WLB, etc and that's all important considering Akamai treated me well and I have a family and stuff. I told AWS on Friday I wouldn't be taking the job. I'm starting to feel a bit of remorse and am wondering if I possibly squandered a really good opportunity. Feeling like I've made a decision that could hinder my ultimate goal of becoming a SDE.

Yeah it's not too late honestly to call the recruiter and reverse my decision if I decide to.
5K TC difference is insignificant in long run.
If difference was like 50K that would be different story
Been to Amazon and it's not for everyone.
But if you are early in your career, the faster you take a brand on resume the better, life only keeps getting harder.
That being said, if you have a new born or newly married then don't go to Amazon now lol.
If your life is normal, yeah take the AWS tag
Not afraid to work hard but afraid to work hard and mess up my family life.
