Goldman Sachs -Phone Interview
I have an upcoming phone screen with Goldman Sachs. It will be resume + coding questions. What should I expect and prepare ? 1. Will it be easy/med LC or med/hard ? And on what topics does GS focus more ? 2. Should I prepare from GS tagged LC list? 3. Can anyone share his/her interview experience #engineering #software #swe
GS tagged are most important.
Did they ask you easy/med leetcode ? What topics ? Were they from GS tagged ones ?
Initial round would be mostly easy medium
Are they straight out of LC goldman sachs tagged ones ?
It can be a mix like if u get 1 easy and 1 medium then either one of it might be straight from gs tagged and other one can be different, basically pattern can vary a lot
Interview was easy. People were good credentials wise who were on-site but some folks who are sitting in back offices are assholes. Pick every small filler word on resume in skills section
Do they go deep on the skills that we have mentioned . I mentioned some of the projects I did 2yrs ago and I barely remember them now.
Oh damn. The hiring manager has said that he would test me on resume and basic programming ques. I should be expecting such ques then.

Are you a contractor at Amazon? And if yes maybe you could go on gs look to get an offer but not join. Because gs is just like Amazon but low tc, low tech skills required, more politics, no pip because you are directly fired. So think about it an Amazon but worse
Moving from Amazon to GS is likely to disappoint you
I was asked hard too. Median of two sorted arrays and he was expecting the binary search solution.
