Not getting better at problem solving, I feel I should quit.

Even after solving thousand+ problems (including more than 250 hards) I fail to get intuition of unseen hard problems every once in a while and sometimes even medium problems(just today failed to get intuition of the last problem of LC weekly feeling very low). Honestly, it's too depressing and frustrating at this stage. Looking on advices on what should I do next. I feel some people like me are not meant to get into Google no matter how hard we try, I am simply too dumb. I should quit and should accept the fate that I am only meant for mediocre jobs. Is there any way from here for a numbnut like me to excel?

Already working at Amazon not sure if getting in MS is also equally trivial, but at the end of the day they are still not Google. What's fun in getting in companies where every Tom, Dick or Harry can get in?

  • You don't need to get into Google. Everyone's end goal is money and the freedom that comes with it. Just go where you can make an impact and make money. You don't have to be the greatest coder to have ever lived to do that. Take a break. You are doing fine.
