Is it true that Indeed has total 8 hours of virtual onsite? I applied for Senior Backend engineer role and cleared Karat round. Now I heard that there will be ~8 hours in total for virtual onsite with following structure: 2 x 60 mins Coding 1 x 60 mins System Design 1 x Programming project 120 mins 1 x Resume review 60 mins 1 x Code review 60 mins 1 x Hiring manager 30-45 mins Isn't it crazy interview process? What are your thoughts on this? Is it worth it? What to expect in Programming project round? Are coding rounds focused on Leetcode problems? Current TC 180k #tech #interview #indeed #microsoft
Wow 😳 they better offer the best comp package in the industry
For Indeed? Haha what a joke. I'd tell them to fuck off.
Crazy Indeed!
Programming project is something along the lines of - here’s a problem (not LC), solve as per requirements. Interviewers will passively observe. You don’t have to talk or explain what you’re doing. They will stay on the call in case you have any questions. Think of a take home project but solved in presence of a passive interviewer. The code needs to adhere to requirements and workable.
Not aware of Programming Project round. Rest of the rounds, yes they do have
Unless this is a specialized position that I'm not familiar with, I'd say everything is correct except the 120 minute programming project. Never seen that for any candidate I've participated in. Should be 5.5 hours total. Coding rounds may be either 2 whiteboards or 1 whiteboard and 1 programming (with the difference being whether or not you're writing against actual test cases). Not sure what determines which you get though.
Indeed has a small internal question bank
Bruh, WTF!
Not worth it for their comp. Maybe for their wlb
😨
