An ex-Lyft engineer confirmed that there are bans for Uber employees (cause he wrote part of it), but not sure if it's active today.
Newer Lyft employees don't understand how fierce the competition was and how hard Uber tried to poach data from Lyft.
At one point we caught them trying to hack our systems, so yes we were a little paranoid about potential Uber employees visiting us.
