Have my Production Engineering Manager onsite on Friday. Im in an EM role now, but I dont do coding, and my org doesnt do System Design Interviews. Been prepping for the past few weeks, but does anyone have any insights? Is it a standard system design interview (ie, back of envelope math, high level design, then dive into data structures and API calls), or more "system design concepts"?

What about coding? The recruiter said to basically not worry about it, and its like "Why does this script only have 10% code coverage"? But looking on Glassdoor and here, seems like people have failed on coding. I had coded for many years prior to my current role, but im a bit rusty. Should I do LC easy? or Med/hard?

What was your gap on coding? Did you just not get an optimal solution? Or were you not able to get started? Also, can you share the coding problems you were asked?

    • Not able to get started..it is one of LC medium, my interview was over 2 months back. So I don’t remember the exact question. But I checked later and it was in Leetcode though not top 100
