Did some research on box truck fleet business. Seems to be profitable if you have reliable drivers and good insurance. From my calculations, if you invest 70-80k then you can own 2-3 box trucks and each can give you return of around 6-7k/ month after everything. Can someone with prior experience shed some light?

But they couldnโt find reliable drivers. One driver kept crashing the truck (I heard he reversed into a electricity pole.. and another time hit a parked car.. luckily no one was hurt but insurance went ๐). Another driver said hours were too long, couldnโt make their deadline and that it was too hard. He gave up after few months. In the end they sold the truck and trailer.
The bigger companies who does this seems profitable so if you can find reliable drivers should be a good source of income. (But in this market everyone is struggling to find drivers)
I would imagine the perfect operator is an experienced driver who figured out how to borrow $70k, not one of us.
