I would probably say avoid GS though because there is so much variation on technology and WLB. You could either work in a good team with latest tech with good WLB. Or you could be in some shit hole team working in some proprietary language with terrible WLB.
With that said, the GS name appears to still be valuable. It's easy to get interviews with other companies, like big tech. I know loads of people who moved onto Google or Netflix or Facebook or some prestigious hedge fund etc etc
My experience has been very different and positive.
