You could be a masterclass surgeon, chef, artist, musician, actor… but I feel one can’t be masterclass in tech.
We are so controlled by deadlines and shipping half working stuff gets you more kudos than shipping a perfect product / code. 🤷🏻♂️
I’m so blown away when I eat at Michelin starred restaurants when chefs come with a masterclass product, same with musicians and actors (look at Christian bale!) I recently had a surgery for my back and the stitches which the doctor suetered were told by many was a work of art.
I wish I was in a profession where I could give out masterclass end products 😪

It's always better to roll out changes in incremental fashion taking feedback and putting it in next iteration rather than taking years of time to build perfect thing.
There is thing called timing . U need to have your product at the correct time when it's of huge demand even though it has some flaws .
Money drives everything . Thats why we have product and bussiness team . engineering team is only confined to the tech perspective .
Imagine zukerberg or Jeff has waited for years to launch facebook and Amazon trying to build the perfect product they launch .
I too used to think your way but I have learnt the hard way .
Nothing is perfect . It's just a state of mind.
