Anyone here working at Adtech startups like Innovid or TripleLift? Howβs it going there?
I cant speak for all adtech but I work at triplelift. Enginnering is shrinking (mostly from attrition) and being replaced by cheap solution enginers. They make s ton of money but most of us assume they are coasting until they get bought.
Thanks for your insight! Are the salaries any good?
Not really they have been known to be on the cheap side. Salaries 75k to 120k with meh benefits and unknown value to their equity. Last person who left got a 70% raise apparently.
What year is it!?
Is this still accurate?
I work for a direct Triplelift's competitor, Nativo. I don't know how good or bad Triplelift is going right nowm but I can adice you to stay away from Nativo.
Disclaimer: nope, I don't work at either. But AdTech is an increasingly tough space for startups these days - it's so crowded in NYC that even a little pullback could be painful. My belief is that the AppNexus acquisition signaled a market peak, but just a guess and I'll be curious to see how it plays out!
Agree completely. Thereβs so much competition outside of the 3 AdTech giants (fb, google, amazon)
