Is 400K+ possible at AMZN at L6?
Currently in MS at ~320K at L63 mostly due to stock appreciation and about to be L64 this year. Expecting L6 offer from Amazon (not AWS). L65 not going to happen for a few years, already overcrowded and it's political to make it happen. I'm decently happy with my current role and do about 50 hrs a week and a great manager.
25% jump in TC is a decent expectation, possible? Blind Chime in.

Update: Amzn came back with an offer & after a quick round of negotiation the final offer stands at ~400k (a little off for anonymity). Haven't made a decision yet. Will think through the long weekend.
Update 2.0: Decided to stay at MS. After talking to several people on and off blind, the jump in TC wasn't worth the move to AMZN. Did not lose much with MS at $212. In the eyes of some, I may not have made the right decision, but I'm happy with my decision.
I'd love to stay MS if they fixed the annual measly refreshers. Apparently FB/G are the ones most advised for this reason.

But coming with comp at the top of the band means you're on your way to L7. So your interview performance needs to be top tier.
1. Are on track for promo but somehow never get there.
2. Know multiple people who did x or y. In this case have 400k TC at L6. It’s mostly lies and pissing competition. The truth is Amazon comp and refreshers are shitty.
