I am beginning the interview process for a senior software engineer(P5) position at Atlassian and was looking for any tips from anyone who has gone through the process.

I assume typical system design and leet code-esque questions. Any other tips, hints, or study guidance would be appreciated :)

Great to hear, leet code type questions are my biggest stressor :) I haven’t ever bothered to sit down and really study them.

      Thanks for the insight!

    • Yeah the best way to practice for ours is to grab a friend, present the problem and explain why it’s happening, then walk them through your answer such that even if they are not an engineer, they can get a grasp of how you got to the solution and how the solution works.

Best way to really understand (and retain) a concept is to teach it to someone, and it’s also a good way to practice interview-style conversations.

@drbgsf64 have you been through the process, I have one lined up for Node js backend position, though 5 questions from hackerrank were easy enough what style of ques can I expect in further rounds
