I have an offer from Microsoft (L65) but in a team not very relevant to my background/experience. Team caters to internal Microsoft teams - meaning not external consumer facing (Something like platform/infrastructure)
I also have an offer from Amazon(L5) for a newly forming team that has good growth potential and lots of opportunity to learn cutting edge technology. This team is external consumer impacting.
Yoe 14 Individual contributor (IC)
Both offers are competitive and in the Bay Area!
I understand WLB and Benefits are very good at Microsoft but work-wise Amazon has lots of potential working close to cutting edge technology!
It would be helpful if this great community could help me understand the pros and cons with the choices! Thanks in advance!
