My work is A OK but hate my manager, he's been killing my productivity eversince i was working under him. He's also just being promoted to manager not too long ago. He's been a bully just to me and he's #rude af during 1-1s, its been very demoralizing for couple months already and my health has declined due to chronic stress. HR person asked me to file a complaint against that jerk. Should i do it? Anyone have been on similar situations or had experiences, any guidance would be grateful!
Details: He keeps saying things i didnt even do, he doesnt have evidence but he keeps insulting it to my face. He also forced me to work outside hours. He's just bullying.

So yes - you can complain - but donβt expect a good response.
Suggest cresting your own doc where you track the pattern and then share it with HR. will others feel the same way ?
But be ready to #quit
My manager and I had a disagreement and we took it to HR. HR scheduled a call and was silent the whole time during the call with a couple unenthusiastic disinterested yes/no replies, lol.
No feedback or follow-ups were done.
