Offers eval: Roblox IC5, Meta E6, LinkedIn Sr. Manager
Have three offers on the table. All offers are for permanent remote (high COL area). Have not negotiated with any of them yet.
1) Roblox IC5; TC 580K
280K base + 300K RSU (1.2M/4 years), no cliff + no bonus + no sign on
This is one of the least interesting offers for me in terms of role/scope, so Iโm probably going to pass on that.
2) Meta E6; TC 563K (base, stock and bonus only, not including refreshers or sign on)
240K base + 275K RSU (1.1M/4 years), no cliff + 48K bonus (20%) + 50K sign-on
This one is interesting because it feels like thereโs a lot of stock upside getting the grant at March average prices.
I think I can push them a bit higher on stock and sign-on?
3) LinkedIn Senior Manager; TC 544K
245K base + 250K RSU (1M/4 years), 1 year vesting cliff + 49K bonus (20%) + 50K sign-on
This is a manager position instead of an IC position. I did interview for a Sr. Staff role some time ago and completely butchered my coding round (was tired and sick the day of the interview, first time I failed coding in YEARS), but did really well in every other round and was offered to do two more rounds for a Sr. Manager, passed those last week.
Iโve heard good things about LinkedIn WLB, but how is it for managers?
I think I can push them a bit higher on stock? Can I negotiate removal of the 1 year vest cliff?
YoE: 11. Managing AND contributing in my current role (officially an L5 manager but doing 30% hands-on).
Current TC: 590K (calculated with an actual stock price), 870K (on paper with $200 stock target).
Appreciate your feedback, and feel free to ask any questions (except about โprepโ - I didnโt really prepare in any special way for any of these interviews except reading up on company core values/pillars before behavioral)!

Although to me it feels like IC5 shouldnโt be working on self-contained projects. Or, at least, shouldnโt be doing it for prolonged periods of time.
In my humble opinion, the whole idea of a high-level IC is to drive technical alignment across the organization for the subjects theyโre an SME on. To influence technical decisions.
Some of the roblox accounts are recruiters or HR people to sell roblox.
If you are interested in Meta - def push for more. Sign on can be 100k and more stocks. Also, what do you mean by "no cliff"? There is cliff at Meta at 4 years.
I would say focus on Meta or LinkedIn offers. I personally don't find Roblox interesting. Considering you are manager I would say Linkedin would be smoother transition and they have relaxed culture as far as I heard.
Meta E6 is intense role and they are really performance cycle oriented company. Not saying it's bad if you are used to relaxed work pace it might be hard to adjust yourself. Otherwise they are still top level and work is probably more interesting that LinkedIn
Iโm tired of Wayfair lately. Lost half of the team because the org refuses to retain. 0 hiring.
And not getting a promo because I didnโt demonstrate impact at L6 level. With two consecutive 1 ratings at L5. Lol, how should I if I have no people to do the damn work?
You gotta pay me 7 figures to deal with this BS.
