Rivian vs Pure Storage offer evaluation

I have an offer for Senior Software Engineer in the Self driving team at Rivian.
Compensaton: Base: 190K, Stocks: 275K, Sign On Bonus: 35k

And an offer from Pure Storage, Portworx for Senior Software Engineer
Compensation: Base: 195K, Stocks: 360K, Annual Bonus: 29k

If we leave the first year's sign on bonus aside I will be earning almost 50k more in TC from second year at Pure Storage.

I know Rivian stock has an upside, but how much upside should I expect for the Rivian Stock since I will be joining very close to the IPO?

Also career wise embedded/applications engineer in self driving vs software engineer in distributed systems which has a better potential for growth?
