As for the low interest rates in US... according to https://www.global-rates.com/interest-rates/central-banks/central-bank-america/fed-interest-rate.aspx we're at .25% which is higher than Japan's -.10% or Europe's 0%. While everyone can see the writing on the wall for the dollar long term I'm not sure I'd count it out in the short term.
