I believe he promised not to roast Twitter as part of the buyout deals, I wonder what happened to that.

Here's his tweet from today:https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1519377424437243904

Great work from Elon sending out his cult members to harass some random woman. Also, if you are so worried that Twitter is left wing biased, why not just start your own social media company and embrace Nazis. I mean, I don’t have any expectation that Truth Social or what we junk Trump is on, will be neutral. We don’t expect Fox News to be neutral. Such a dumb meme

I don’t think the intention was to roast her. This is from a podcast so the people need to be in the meme for it to make sense, but I think the point is Twitter has been using circular reasoning to defend itself against this line criticism. It’s unfortunate that people are being mean to her because of this though - she’s a nice lady.

she brought the BS corporate talk to an open podcast. Corporate talk works in meetings because employees don’t have the balls to call her out. It doesn’t work when the people she’s talking to doesn’t work for her

Nice? How well do you know her op? Did she bake you cookies on Mondays? I’ve worked with legal counsels in my current role and in previous roles, and the head of legal is rarely ever “nice”. They project a sense of superiority where the company’s products and customers totally depend on them due to regulations. Lol.

  • Elon is a d*ck. He builds his companies on hype. So I am not surprised he is making the Twitter business scandalous.

    • Twitter says as it prepares for his 5th meltdown because he can't cope with the fact that Elon is now his daddy

    • Teslas are nice but Elon promised earlier and more. SpaceX achieved a lot, but it also promised results much earlier. Elon is burning money to get these achievements and I am not sure it is sustainable for long term, that is why he needs to be the center of attention again and again. He is a good businessman, because people and investors still trust him and I couldn't achieve these, so he is so much better than me in that aspect. But that doesn't make him not a d*ck.
I don't really care he bought Twitter, I don't use it actively, but changing something so core of the internet culture is a mistake. It is already free speech on Twitter. You guys don't know what it would mean not having free speech. It may be moderated, but that is needed to have a platform where people can discuss stuff intelligently. Blame the people responsible for moderation, not the platform.

Since when did calling someone out on their bullshit become a bad thing? Is this Vijaya woman immune to criticism?
