This city is indeed the second silicon valley with tech talent at par with California. What is stopping Netflix,Facebook, Airbnb, Twitter, Stripe and all such companies to have major development center in bangalore. Amazon has vastly benefitted from this. If Airbnb had dev center in bangalore they would be able to sustain better. Uber has a dev centre. Atlassian created their major dev centre. Still a ton of companies are not there.
Is there some reason for the same?

It was not hatred. Pure fact. Just google "silicon valley of" you will find so many cities claim this.

Bangalore isn't just any city when it comes to technology or software industry...while California is indeed the top league... Bangalore is rightfully considered the other silicon valley...

  • Bangalore sucks - it’s all overhyped , bad traffic and bad life . Places like Hyderabad , Pune or noida are much better

No way. Bangalore has a much better start-up ecosystem and a lot of companies if you're looking for a career change. Pune and Noida have a limited presence of companies. Hyd has bigger dev centers of Google, MS, Uber - but they all have a presence in Bangalore as well. Amazon has a huge presence in both the cities

    • Wow. Bangalore might have problems but the culture and people are chilled out. Go to Gurgaon, you'll be beaten to pulp in that shithole

I think ‘cool’ tech companies need a fancy infrastructure and setup, especially when they are in their growing phase. Reality has struck them now but it wasn’t the case always. If only Bangalore had solved its traffic and infrastructure problems, more companies would have setup their bases as there is no lack of talent.

    • India has had prime ministers or presidents who speak all languages and are of different religions and even a women pm! Not even the USA can boast that. Can we cut this Hindus are evil crap based on some media article highlighting an incident from remote villages bihar or UP?

Hindu is not a language first of all. Secondly you'll be warmly welcomed and make great friends.
