I am moving jobs. My current job LWD is Friday and next one starts on Monday. The health insurance from my employer also ends on midnight of last working day. Are there any medical plans which cover for couple of days? Any advise is good.

Current TC: 95k
New TC: 270k

COBRA will retroactively cover you. Even if you get in a horrific accident over the weekend between jobs, you can fill-out the paperwork and pay the premiums after the fact and you'll be retroactively covered.

No need to worry, you can initiate COBRA coversge retroactively for up to 60 days after losing your employer-based coverage. The COBRA information arrives within 2 weeks of your last dsy.

It is unlikely you will need coverage for the 2 days you are between jobs.

  Understood. Thank you for that information. I had rough last couple of months health wise. Even an ER visit last week. So fingers crossed. But this COBRA coverage is good provision.

You can invoke cobra if in case you get any unavoidable emergencies. Good luck for your new job
