Short term rentals in the US

Jan 14 7 Comments

Anyone have any tips for finding short term furnished places in the US? Like 2-4 month long rentals.

The only thing I know to use really that makes it easy is Airbnb, but I feel like there must be something better - Airbnb can be pricey even in lame places.

  • In Florida you can find places in Airbnb or VRBO, figure out property management companies and call them or book directly from their own website. It saved me a lot $$.

Hi. Just to follow up as I’m also looking for short term rental. Which property management companies you used last time? Did you have good experience with them?

Furnishedfinder.com is another site that focuses on furnished short-term rentals. Most of the spots have minimums from one month up to three months. They talk about catering to traveling nurses, but I can't imagine they really care about what you're doing while you're renting the place

I've heard good and bad things about Hello Landing, otherwise you might be able to find furnished short term rentals on things like Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace

    • Well I like what they are trying to do, thats a good one to look into thanks. Main downside I see is best rates are for 6+ month leases, but I'm not sure how significant the discount is. Also quickly looking around some of their apartments say sample pictures not actual apartment.
