Hoping to receive offer from intuit as well as a Series E startup(profitable)
The startup is paying more money compared to Intuit but Intuit has presence worldwide and the startup only has an office in India outside US.
The startup hasn’t filed that many H1b visas but they are open to file next year whereas Intuit has a lot of experience with H1b filings. As H1b is totally luck - is it better to just join a company that offers more money or should I still go ahead with Intuit because of immigration concerns.
Still have a couple attempts left at H1b but thinking about the worst case scenario I want to make sure I choose a company that can support me through H1b drama.
Intuit folks - how has been your experience with immigration at Intuit?

(My story)
Fresh grad, moved to New Mexico to work for a startup (have presence in Cali, but only marketing folks, all devs based out of NM), had a good company handling their legal stuff, and got my H1B picked first round (2017). Since then moved to Cali (2019), got my i140 done (2020) - no issues.
Might want to talk to your startup rec / legal team to understand who (which company) is their “external legal counsel”.
