I am tired of living in the city (San Francisco) and planning to move out. One of my biggest concerns is commute as my office is in downtown SF. I currently uber everyday to work but once I move out of city, this can not be an everyday option.
I wonder how people living in suburban area commute to city for work? Bart? Caltrain? Drive? Or the mix of those? How much time and money do you spend?
Normal means seem to be expensive and inconvenient so I'm hoping to find some commute tricks here :)
PS: both my wife and I live together and work in the city.

You could always wake up at 5am and ride a bicycle for a few hours lol. Free!
You could also get a motorcycle. Your commute time will be halved during rush hour, and you won't pay much for gas
