A true one time sign-on bonus from Amazon
Amazon is famous with those sign-on bonuses that are spread across the first 1-2 years to compensate the back-loaded vesting schedule. Did anyone have any success in negotiating an additional one time sign-on bonus to all of this? I wonder if it’s possible. TC: 295k

Below $25k they can do a lump sum, but that’s not on top of an amortized per month amount.

I am betting they are answering that they got a lump sum, not a lump sum and monthly
