I am jumping ship and trying to figure out how much gap I can have between the two.
I heard that OPT gives you 90 days of unemployment and STEM OPT gives you additional 60 days of unemployment.
That leaves me with a total of 150 days of unemployment. I used up 18 days of unemployment during my original OPT.
Does that mean that I still have 150-18=132 days of unemployment to fill in the gap between two employers?
Or would it be just 60?
Additionally, if I use up all my unemployment days, what issues could I face in the future aside from unexpected layoffs?
Thank you
