Is this a good offer and should I take it?

    Standard, you will find 10 more comments where people would say that everything is low. But thats a very standard offer from MSft.

  • Keep in mind the target bonus is 50% of the maximum. People rarely get much more than that.

    I was offered below for L61 two months back for WA in Azure Confidential Computing team.
    Base - 141K
    Bonus - 40k/2
    Rsu - 140k/4

    You should definitely try to negotiate on sign on and rsu. They won’t go higher than this on base.

      So Microsoft kind of screwed me. They told me 7 weeks ago that I was selected. 3 weeks later they sent me an offer for NC location. I told them the offer was too less (basically base there was 120k). After that another 2 weeks later they told me that They will give me offer for WA location bc that’s the only way they will increase my salary.
      Last week I received an offer from aws as well.
      I still haven’t received updated offer letter from Microsoft

      Basically Microsoft has been super slow in this whole process :| but it worked well for me as I received a counter offer.

    Low on RSU and Sign On.
    However, if you push harder, you can increase every component TBH.
    For Redmond, base can definitely go upto $151k, RSU can go upto $160k and sign on upto $50k. All these are based on numbers I've personally seen for L61.
