ADP vs Amex as new grad

New grad in the US and got offers from both American Express and ADP. Wondering which would help me grow more and get better opportunities later down the road. Both locations are fairly nearby so I wouldn’t have to relocate. Thank you! Amex is a great company with good solid culture and quality people.

I know a ton of adp people and they're kind of dolts. I'd go with amex. The one ex amex person I've worked with here was super sharp

Do not, I repeat do not go to adp. You’d only learn what not to do there. Completely sales driven. Sales people making promises that the engineers have to keep. I worked there at the start of my career and those 8 months are a complete write off

Lately ADP has been investing lot on tech stack. It is easy for you to switch other product based companies.

Go to Amex, your exit opportunities are great.

Keep interviewing

Google Ruminating Nov 29, 2021

Looks like Amex is paying contractors from Telugu consultancies more than legit FTE hires lol (and the interview process would've been 100x harder for OP)

Not sure about ADP, but I’d avoid AMEX, didn’t rlly have a great experience here

Currently at ADP. Don't join. Save yourself.
