im a hardware engineer in product develooment. i have the same resume (except i dont have a bluechip as previous employer) as a lot of the guys that just got laid off.
i had already done 2 phone interviews that went very well with a medioum sized conomany in SF. in fact im sure they were fast tracking me because im interviewing at google as well.
the last phone call waa on monday, and tuesday at noon they scheduled an in house the next day. at just after 3pm they said somethimg came up and they had to reschedule.
did they my blow me off to try and get someone from Uber? or am i just way over thinking it?
its been crickets since.
i really like the job, they said they could compensate me competatively and they are in sf so my commute would be 30 min vs +1 hr.
and i felt like the work/life there would be a lot better too. i was seriousky considering them over google.

Just kidding. I know your interviewer. His kid came down with something awful, really really bad diarrhea all over the places he's really sorry but had to take off the rest of the week.
