At a FANG now, but chatting with some old colleagues there's a pretty deep bench now and alot of client projects are asking firms to temporarily stop working to cut down on their monthly bills. There's a few instances in the commercial side where the client is simply going out of business. Deloitte CEO said they won't be laying off folks this year on an internal meeting, but that's probably assuming you're doing billable work. Bonuses and raises will probably be as bad if not worse than 2008-2009.

  It’s not like anyone is sitting on their asses. Projects that continually get bumped from the execute list due to changeability targets suddenly get the talent they need to complete.
