Your current MSFT is much better, given zst, prospects of stock appreciation with Azure, and the fact that you already know the stack. General rules of thumb to even consider a job: > 20% increase Larger scope (senior, staff, founding, ...) Learning opportunity. Some of the above apply less/more depending in which stage you are in your career. With 2-5 YOE I would maximize learning over pay. This investment will pay off as your career progress. Of course all of the above go down the drain if you are unhappy in your current position.
But believe me..L5 is much better than L61 at msft..you come back next year..msft will hire you at L63
I personally wouldn’t. Benefits, commute, wlb, culture, shitty Seattle compared to Redmond. Get a 25% raise at least or look for a better opportunity.

Heh, it's essentially the same as your Microsoft TC if you account for the lack of benefits, bonus, mega backdoor Roth, etc.
