AWS ML solution architect - L5 TC?
Have onsites for a ML specialist solution architect at AWS. Are SAs paid similarly to SDEs? Levels.fyi estimates an L5 sde at ~210k.

SAs paid one level lower than SDEs
What? No. It is lower pay, but not a full salary level...
Having had both job families report to me, it is not quite a full level lower but close. L6 SA band mostly overlaps with L5 SDE band, but goes about 10% higher.
