what do you think of robinhood valuation? will it surge a lot like coinbase?

    I think so. Robinhood is much more diversified business plus they have 9.5 million crypto users too according to their recently published blog (I think Coinbase is at 12m) so that will also be counted as crypto. Plus Robinhood can emulate coinbase.

    Not sure about how much but it will be in order of magnitude and would be a long term investment IMO. Planning to buy if possible.

      Agree..Not sure what is the active number of crypto users at Robinhood but just its crypto business would surely be valued at 30-40% of Coinbase's based on users, growth, cross sell story etc. But Coinbase is definitely superior right now in terms of product. That's where I am coming from

    No way Robinhood will be matching coinbase or by the time Robinhood matches todayโ€™s coinbase, coinbase will be 10x. One is global another one is just the states.

      The thing is, Canada already has its own Robinhood copycat that is widely popular here. All the big banks here are also Canadian so it would be quite a surprise if Robinhood was able to be the first big US player in our financial system.

      It's like how Uber couldn't compete with localized copycats like Grab, Kareem and Didi. Do you think DoorDash will have much success competing with Grab in East Asia or Deliveroo in the UK? Probably not.

      yes my point is that in the final stretch of the pre IPO phase, the same place RH is now, CB basically stayed flat and remains so
