Yes. During the recession of 2009, Apple was selling at down from 300$ to 80$. Microsoft was at 13$. I don’t have to tell you about where they both are today. Apple more so than Microsoft specially.

Always always set a stop loss. Don’t get married to your stock. Use daily ATR as a stop and use Renko charts for great visibility when the uptrend is broken if you are wrong and when down trend is broken when short.
