I am about to resign or pivoted with start date of new company not confirmed yet . I recently met someone who got tested as covid positive. I might lose my insurance for the next couple of months. What are my options and should I buy insurance on my own ? What are some good plans
I am on H1b

Definitely gave me peace of mind but it’s not cheap. You also have Obamacare which works well too. It’s a bit cheaper but shittier coverage (higher deductibles). You pick which is more important to you.
Oh and you can get Cobra whether you quit, resign, are pivoted out, or fired. Doesn’t matter. It’s always available to someone after they leave a company.
Does this mean they pay for full amount of cobra premiums?
Then you can buy cobra.
