I was referred in by a senior MD for a manager/sr. manager role in the Security Strategy & Risk area of ACN. My interview "timing" seemed very odd based on feedback from others: I did the initial interview, followed by the technical interview. I was then flown out for the confirming interview with the MD of the practice I was going to support. A couple of days later I did the ABI/Skills Assessment interview. Then things went dark. After several follow ups I was told that the MD was looking at the "chargeability" and the "affordability" of the role and they did not have anywhere to put me. And that was that. Is it possible that ACN was just placating the senior MD who referred in me knowing that they were not going to hire me? #accenture #consulting
Simple: Talk to your contact who is snr MD
Already did... They spoke to the MD of the practice and was told the same thing, no where to put me. The entire experience felt as if they were just placating the sr MD so that they could say, "yeah, we interviewed the person and don't have a spot."
