Do you have a offer in hand ? Or just thinking

Accenture GBHV68 OP Mar 2, 2022

Just thinking as now.

Deloitte tranduhman Mar 2, 2022

What’s your strategy to get into google? Do Accenture guys have some sort of internal recruitment?

Accenture GBHV68 OP Mar 2, 2022

No. I have a few options for referrals

Google woloo1 Mar 2, 2022

PM would be a long shot, Google is very picky about the role. Your best bet is something that exactly aligns with your current role. No one really cares about your advanced degree. Comp is very easy to beat.

Accenture GBHV68 OP Mar 3, 2022

Como wise are you referring to solely salary base? I know there’s the additional stocks units provided as well. And pretty good sign on.

Google woloo1 Mar 3, 2022

I am considering total compensation. With how liquid and stable Google stocks are it would not make sense to think about just the base. At your experience level probably 30-40% of your compensation at Google would be in stocks. Which is only likely to keep getting bigger with time.

I made the move recently and know of several others who have. As most will tell, you look for roles where you at least meet requirements but even better if you exceed requirements, esp years of experience.

Accenture peacebe Mar 10, 2022

Would you be able to help with a referral ?

Accenture fYXW84 Mar 11, 2022

Most Googlers don’t refer if they don’t know you because they require you to provide details of if they know you so I can’t not but I would be more than happy to connect if you have questions on the process or interview prep.

Microsoft nTXn20 Mar 9, 2022

I would try a PgM or TPM. PM is a long shot for Google without solid exp

Salesforce jjQF45 Mar 9, 2022

Why not Salesforce? Ping me and I can connect you on a few roles

Apple bacone Mar 9, 2022

Do you really need to post for applying? When I read the title, I thought it will be your journey from “rags to riches”.. disappointed 😢

Google meatloaf07 Mar 9, 2022

Look at Strategy and Ops roles or PgM

T-Mobile BillofR Mar 9, 2022

In a hypothetical summary, in the Blind community, 60% - have already applied and did not even get a call for interview 20% - got a call but did not clear for interview 10% - have done multiple interviews but not selected yet and ask community for help 10% - cleared the interview and post their success story Your post is a first, one of a kind!
