Which tech companies do you believe to be likely acquisition targets within the next five years? By who and why?
Xilinx! Long due. May be AMD can acquire Xilinx like intel acquired Altera
IBM might acquire Palantir if they fail to go public
I think I also saw Oracle rumored as well, but agreed this doesn't sound too infeasible.
Lyft by Amazon
Nutanix by Google
Dropbox by Salesforce/Adobe
Infoblox by Cisco
Upwork by LinkedIn.
I’d like to see this happen
Apple buying Tesla is an interesting idea. Cook being more an operations guy than innovator like Jobs - and I think that’s where the biggest pain points for Tesla might be (hunch). However, Apple may not be willing to drop that kinda loot cuz with buyback losses and market corrections of late cash on hand might not be enough. I don’t know what I’m talking about but who cares, amirite. It’s blind. Oh btw I’m a IC3 288K TC +5 yoe
Tesla?
Who would have the cash and justification for that? Are you thinking Apple?
