Recruiter reached out to me and I was wondering how well Google pays for ad Sales. I make around 140k OTE right now here at Thomson Reuters in the Midwest, and was wondering if it's worth making the leap. The position is called account strategist selling to existing SMB.
Curious about this as well. Is this a role somewhat similar to a SaaS AE?
Ad sales is more commoditized than SaaS and the sale is less complex in most cases.
I would expect goog comp to blow away TR - so why not follow up? I do not know that side of the business - but google treats its people well - probably too well.
Well it's SMB sales and it's in the Midwest so I'm a bit Bearish on this. I'll follow up, but being this is Google, I won't be asking for comp up front like I do with most recruiters, so I thought I'd get some insight from Blind.
Why wouldn’t you ask for comp range up front??
