Hey there! I’ve been reading through various posts here to wrap my head around compensation at a place like Adobe. In my 20+ years of experience, I’ve always worked at places employing less than 100 people. I’ve got 10 years experience directly relatable to the job, and about 25 years in the field all together. That said, I’m nearing what (I think) will be an offer for a senior designer positon with fairly unique requirements. Everything I read seems to suggest I’ll be making anywhere from $1,000 to $500,000 a year. For this really to be worth it to me, I’ll need to make somewhere around $200k. Does this seem reasonable? I know there are stock options and other things like that, but to cover living expenses for my family in their Seattle office, I pretty much need to make this. Any thoughts or other advice for someone that is venturing into new territory?
