TC ~250k Base: 170k Bonus:5% RSU: 250k (over 4 years or 62.5k annually) Sign-on:30k YoE:11 (Bay Area, engg) Verbal only. How much can I go up to realistically? thanks
Level/title/location ? Base looks low.
That I need to still find out. I am guessing it's SDE5. So what base would be, not low?
Refer this: https://www.teamblind.com/article/Adobe--Senior-CS-L5-Offer---Negotiation-ddg4tOHR
Is it SDE4 or S3 ?
Haven't found the level yet, any help on how to map Adobe level to other companies? (I could not find it in https://www.levels.fyi/?compare=Google,Facebook,Microsoft&track=Software%20Engineer)
You can ask your recruiter.
SDe4 is a very wide range. I can't say it is good or bad. All depends on how desperate they are to hire you.
What is sde4. Is it up to computer scientist 2 or is it up to Sr. Computer scientist1.
What is Sr. CS2. Is it SDE-6?
They gave me a similar offer for full stack position in San Jose office and I have 6.5 years of experience. I rejected because the base seems low and the TC would go down significantly after 1st year without the signon bonus. Also, didn’t think manager was going to be easy to work with.
Got base bumped up to 180! I am going to take the offer. (I don't have the 6 months of leetcode to ace FANGs and beggars aren't choosers 🤑)
Which level was it?
Thank you so much @bones20 from Autodesk - you really helped me negotiate!
Very welcome and thanks for sharing your offer. I think you had a lot more room to negotiate depending on the level/title. If it is Senior Computer scientist (or above), you could have asked for 200k base easy.
This is why I love blind!!
