Hello I have an on-site interview with Apple this week for a data science role. What should I expect? Never been to an Apple on-site so am a little nervous. Sorry in advance for wrong channel, it’s the only one where I can hide my current company.
And lunch is an interview as well. So be prepared to not get much food because you were be answering questions
Yeah. Lunch is an interview with the hiring manager. So go light and ask a lot of questions. It’s gonna be a busy day.
It is grueling, for sure. I’m in a non-engineering field but lots of technical (read: statistics) questions. White-boarding happened with more than one interviewer. Spend a lot of time preparing your presentation. After I was hired, my manager told me my presentation was the reason I got the job. Good luck!
Congratulations. Which format did you use for your deck? Do they prefer keynote or is it ok to use google slides
OP how was your interview? did they ask python, Sql and ML?
Drink good dose of coffee and prepare for a gruelling day. Up to 10 half hour interviews and it will feel like you are in a deposition. But at the end of the day you will appreciate talking to the top notch people in their field.
Oh wow haha. My interview is officially only scheduled for 5.5 hours, with a presentation that I need to present as part of a data challenge to “business stakeholders”
Damn this just reminded me on my Apple onsites. It really was like that. I passed luckily but I broke a sweat.
