Crossed a line with my boss
I am going to start working at Intuit (India) soon as New grad SWE. Any advice for me ? How is wlb and benefits that I can take ? Which are good teams. Anything to keep in mind before starting or while working? Also I have not done any internship till now. Is training provided for New grad ? P.s. posting from a friend's account T.C. - 🥜 YoE - 0 #engineering #software #swe #intuit #new grad #india
Intiuit as a company is alive because of lobbying. It's not a tech company. You will have to do lot of bootlicking. Don't forget to carry mouthwash to office everyday.
How does it work in remote working?

I am a SSE at intuit. I too joined straight out of college and have been here for about 4 years now. Let me tell you things that worked for me. 1. Indentify interesting and hard problems to work on 2. Be highly accountable. Make sure whatever work you do with dedication and own it end to end 3. Sell yourself, document everything you do. Make sure to describe how what work you do is impacting the customer, helping him reduce number of hours from x to y 4. Be customer centric - try to stand in customer's shoes and deliver solutions Some comments would tell you that intuit is not a tech company or you need to do boot licking. It's not true Intuit has transformed a lot in past couple years. Be passionate and honest about the work you do and you will succeed Also, as a new grad, I am assuming you would be easily getting base salary of ~15 lakhs and a bunch of stocks. I don't think it's 🥜
Thanks. This means a lot to me. Currently background check is going on and don't know about T.C., didn't receive offer letter yet
Kids these days ... Enjoy your life dude ... Such things are not worth stressing for ...
You're a new grad, just relax why are you stressing out already? They will bring you upto speed on everything. The onboarding at Intuit is pretty decent. Just learn and have fun
