Advise for new grad

I'm an international student about to graduate this May, MS-CS. I have been applying to jobs on LinkedIn and glassdoor. But I barely receive any response from the companies. I have tried applying via referrals as well but the response has been cold. I tried attending a few career fairs but they haven't been convincing either. It looks like recruiters target only people from great universities while mine is decent-iiish! With few months remaining, how can I apply lucratively to companies so they respond back? I don't care about cgpa.. but how many lines of code do you have on GitHub. How much have you contributed to open source? Fix that.. and then tell me if you still don't get responses.

Leetcode only helps to get through interview.. you first need the foot in the door.

I agree . . But I feel a big part of cold responses are because of the visa sponsorship issues that I have..As I mentioned I am an international student on f1 visa

Prioritize companies that are know to give sponsorships. But also I think there is something off with your resume. It is not usual that you get no responses.

1. Message recruiters on linkedin with positions you are interested in. 2. Keep applying, try to apply for some companies who have hiring events( amazon, microsoft). 3. Move to bay area if you not already here. 4. Ask any good friend of you to review your resume.
