I had an on-site in Seattle last week. Interview went well. Today I got an email from the recruiter asking me when is my current OPT expiring(May be a positive sign). I just have <11 months left in STEM-OPT and need H1. Should I mention I have plans for other work around once OPT expires/mention if H1 get picked I can work few more years? Please suggest me some better ways I can respond.
Which company? Unfortunately, 11 months left on STEM will be an issue for smaller companies. There is no work around for it other than actually getting an H1B. Am I missing something?
