We have change in upper management ! Surprise! And the b**s**t people got in power. New boss doesn’t like me(we had some minor conflicts in past). The guy on the level up is trying to make a case against me with lie & fake story. I can prove him wrong but this will create more flames

P.S. I am in management too

Either call HR or leave. I’d go with the latter

Try looking for another role internally. If there is something interesting that gets you in a different reporting structure you might have a better path to success. There will likely be trade offs (like moving parts of your team away) but long term it might be better for your happiness than to deal with political drama.

You kind of need current management support to move internally. I wanted to do this but was told by my manager my performance wasn’t good even though it wasn’t my fault. My performance suffered because I wasn’t a good fit for the team I got reorged into and the manager wouldn’t let me leave citing performance. Catch 22. Just leave Oracle.

Having a boss you’ve had conflicts with is tough. All I can say is in the past I’ve had the most success when I had a private and considered chat with that person. Try this... it’s going to sound crazy but it works... ask for a 1:1 chat... remain super calm... call out a specific item (don’t make generalities) around his/her behaviour and tell them how it makes you feel (yes feel) and ask for a change related to that one single behaviour. It’s very hard to ignore that kind of conversation. If you go the HR route it’s already too late.

Indian middle management is dog eat dog world. It’s Tamil vs Telugu vs Kannada. Enjoy!

make your case solid with all the paper trail. make it enough to go to court with it if you get fired. gather feedback that proves against the made up story. don’t stay where you are, make a lateral move to another org. you don’t want to disclose your cards until that manager actually makes an attempted action. then you go to HR and his managers with your case. They are likely to be on his side so your package should make them fear the court hearing. Also remember you aren’t playing to change their opinion about the guy, they are likely well aware of his persona and practices. You are playing against his mistakes where he steps out of legal boundaries and thus showing his managers you can take care of yourself, you can keep shit together, you are more qualified at management, you are organized enough to make your solid case. All those characteristics they may need in their chain of command to rely on managers, and thus less likely to part with you.
