Airbnb Android Roles
I was looking at the Airbnb career page and noticed that theres only one android job opening for a very specific role/team. Are you guys not hiring more mobile developers this year? Are there going to be more openings at the beginning of 2020? Thanks! TC: 218k

At FB or Google, do you normally get to talk to manager prior to offer? Real question - have never interviewed at either.
Absolutely you talk to the manager. Even at companies like Intel and Oracle you talk to the manager at onsite where they are hiring for specific team. I guess Airbnb has it’s own way 🤷♂️
Headcount should open again in January. I know a few teams that will be looking for Android devs. What kind of role/team are you looking for?
Good to know! Looking for android product engineering role for trip, home, or experience team. I saw an opening for those teams a few months ago.
I would suggest looking again in January when new hiring budgets are in effect.
